OCR: The two cover versions, 's proto- punk classic Pablo Picasso and Try Some, Buy Some by the late , are a reminder that it was Bowie who pioneered the modern craze for radical remakes on his 1973 album ("At one time I was compiling a Pin Ups 2 list and both of these songs were on it.") Oddly, though, the best new version here is of a song by one D Bowie: was originally left off , then rerecorded but It was Bowie who pioneered the craze for radical remakes not used on the album. That he can leave something as achingly beautiful as this song languishing in orbit for so long is a subject that Ground Control should bring up with Major Tom asap.
